There are application installers on this CD that use the Microsoft
Windows Installer (.msi) format.
Download Php Only Windows ME and 2000 users have built-in MSI support with
the installation of Windows.
Developer Php On Windows NT and Windows9x, you may need to install the MSI
support package in order to begin the install process. You will
find these updates located in the 'software/instmsi' directory on
this CD-ROM.
Database Php The 'InstMsi.exe' installer for:
Win 9x is located in the 'software/instmsi/forwin9x/' directory on
this CD-ROM.
Win NT is located in the 'software/instmsi/forwinnt/' directory on
this CD-ROM.
Php Xml Copy the file for the version of Windows that you are using on
to your computer, double click on it and follow the instructions as
they appear on screen. Once you have installed the MSI installer
application, you should not need to do so again. You will be ready
to run any (.msi) binary.

a Microsoft Windows operating system, such as Windows 9x, Windows
NT or higher. While some of the examples may run under other
operating systems, many of the Dynamic HTML and server-side
capabilities require browsers that operate under Microsoft Windows.
You must copy the code examples to your hard drive, to modify them
as you work your way through the book. The code examples are

organized by chapter, please note that there are no examples for
