OTAMate Technology launches mobile phone advertising platform using Hessian and Resin
LA JOLLA, CA -- June 26, 2006 -- Caucho Technology, Inc., a leading open source Java-PHP application server vendor, today announced that OTAMate Technology Ltd., a European telecommunications software/services developer, has extended their Phonewebcam application to support on-target advertisements managed by Caucho Technology’s Resin software and Hessian protocol.
OTAMate Technology developed the OTASuite, an integrated set of Resin powered services providing support for the various operational requirements of cell phone software such as provisioning, billing, security and language translation. The Phonewebcam application is managed by these services and also uses Hessian for various communication tasks. The new advertising platform takes internationalized content from the Resin servers on demand and allows the cell phone user to interact with them and request more information when needed.
